1. Institutional Data Control
NorthStarClaim operates with a data-minimization approach. We provide the claim recovery platform, and you retain ownership and control over your data. Clinical data is processed transiently for claim work and is not retained after transmission to the clearinghouse.
2. Encryption & Access Control
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Systems are accessible only through authenticated, access-controlled sessions scoped to defined user roles.
3. Compliance Jurisdiction
All data processing agreements are governed by institutional service-level agreements and applicable technical standards.
4. Automated Deployment
Deployment and provisioning steps are largely script-driven. Access to production systems is limited to authenticated users with defined roles and is logged.
5. Data Residency & Encryption
Metadata is stored in encrypted databases. In-transit data uses TLS 1.3. Data residency options can be aligned to your institutional compliance requirements.
